When to start to try naturally inducing labor?

I'm due August 3rd and am kind of feeling like he will be late. And, I DO NOT want to be induced. I was thinking about trying to get labor started this weekend, I'll be 39 + 2. I'm not trying to go into labor this weekend, just try to get things started I guess. 
 
I was thinking about going for long walks with my SO, sex, nipple stimulation and raspberry leaf tea.

My dr said at 37 weeks start having sex like crazy, walk, and bounce on that birth ball! 37 weeks and 3 days and currently bouncing on my ball.

Studies show that a ftm is actually likely to carry to 41 weeks and a day! Seriously. You can google check me ; D haha just be patient. Say no to induction! There is really no way to induce labor Bc your hormones have to be just right to prep your cervix so it will soften and dilate. That being said... I carried my second baby to 40+6 and I figure sex can't hurt! Lmao I don't want to go over 40 either, but I do plan on it that way I don't get disappointed when

They should hive you the option at 41 weeks to just break your water first and see if labor starts.. then you won't need to be induced.

The things you're thinking of doing certainly can't hurt, so I figure why not give them a try? If they do work, 39+2 is a perfectly good time to give birth and if not well, you tried lol. I'd say at your 39 week or next appointment talk to your care provider about things you can do to try to get your body in gear for labor.

I'm due the day before you 😊 I already started nipple stimulation, but only for about 5 minutes per day. Right now I'm not TRYING to induce, I'm just trying to get things started a little. I'm also using birth ball. And instead of walking (because that's just so boring), I dance instead 😂 I have no idea if it has the same effect, but it makes dishes less boring! 😂

For two days eat 6 dates go on walk both days on second day take caster oil and have srx both days .( before anyone say anything bout caster oil my the ob in Labor and delivery took it to induce her own labor so if the nurse who delivers babies can do it so can u )

I'm with you. I don't want to induce because I know baby will come when he's ready but I've been trying things to help prepare for labor. 
Started eating 6 dates a day and taking evening primrose oil @ 35 weeks It's supposed to help prepare your cervix. I'm 37 weeks now and Dr said at 36 weeks I was already 70% effaced, 1.5cm dilated and "loose", and baby is at 0 station (she could feel his head when she checks my cervix he's so low already). 
So body is doing what it's supposed to! If I go past 40 weeks I'll try inserting evening primrose oil instead of just taking it orally. It helped break my water at 40 +2 (probably).
