I'm 20 and pregnant with a little girl...💖 the only problem is I may end up raising her alone... here's the situation... my boyfriend's father found a NBA G-league registration that he wants to sign my boyfriend up for...if he does make it he'll have to leave us and stay in Chicago or Miami or wherever they're stationed....this is his dream and I don't want to stop him but it's upsetting that I gave up my dream of going to school and becoming a psychiatrist because I got pregnant and he still gets to follow his...and to make it worse he may miss our daughter being born and a lot more if he does get a call back... what should I do...? What should I say...?

Let him go and get your own dreams too. There is no reason you can't have your baby and go
To school. It's not easy but you can do it

He should put his responsibilities first... dont forget either of your dreams, a baby doesn't mean you have to sideline going to school or basketball. But he definitely shouldn't completely walk out on you

Also, let him follow his dreams as you follow yours..
You don't need to leave him just because he'll be gone, how do you think military wives do it? They don't see their husbands for 9-12 months and stay strong... some even miss their birth. Be strong, if you still love this bf of yours, you'd support and stay and allow him. Don't think your relationship is gone because he'd be gone and miss the birth..

please don't take tgis the wrong way but you DO NOT NEED your boyfriend to take care of a child and do not use getting pregnant an excuse if you not rolling your dreams. FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS NO MATTER WHAT. You got this you can do it with or without him so it for your babygirl

It almost sounds like you want him to give up on his dream because you gave up on your dream. Neither of you have to give up on your dreams just because you had a baby. She can go to Chicago or wherever and if your relationship is strong, you can work it out.
