Tampons???

Question

Okay so I'm 14 ive been on my period for 3 years now and I wanna use tampons because I'm a competitive gymnast and our uniforms don't exactly cover pads so I've had to compromise for the last 3 years of competitions! But I cant handle pads anymore they are disgusting and just not working for me so any advice about how to put one in for the first time would be greatly appreciated!!! Please leave your comments I need help!

When I was your age and starting to figure out tampons, I was terrified to talk to my mom so a friend recommended I try "slims".  They were a little smaller than regulars so they were great starters!  Just make sure your hands are clean and you've wiped/cleaned up down there before you start.  I hold the tube (grip part) with thumb and middle finger, insert just about to the grip part, then use your pointer finger to push the end in to insert it.  Then pull the tube part out and discard, careful not to tug on the string or it could move and become sitting in an uncomfortable position.  If it's uncomfortable when pushing it inward you may have to tip/tilt it at a different angle, because we're all shaped differently.  I hope this helps.  Good luck! What I like to do is crouch down. I crouch so low that I would be touching the floor with my hands. That's the easiest way for me to do it lol
