I won't be having a single conversation at one specific age. I'll have multiple conversations over time that will be relevant to their age. For example, I'll tell my child that no one should touch their private parts and that they should always tell Mummy or daddy if someone does, etc when they're younger than 5. But I'd save the drugs are bad talk till they're closer to grade 4 when I'd likely give my child the puberty talk and how babies are made one too. And even after they've been taught all of this I'll keep telling them the important things like using condoms and having respect for yourself and others throughout their life. I'm 24 and engaged and my mum still tells me these things. Drugs, sex, alcohol and relationships should be an on going conversation starting young and never ending in my opinion.

i would probably talk about it around 10? before puberty and the whole phase of "i want to be independent and dont care about anything you say". teenage years arent really the best time to try and teach anything.

I had the "drug talk" at my school in kindergarten and I still remember the cartoon drawings of crack and needles. So I think any information will come in handy, but I wouldn't drop the sex talk on my kids until they have the necessary parts.

my parents taught me about sex at 8 and it started off with the basic stuff than, at 13 it was about STDs, condoms, getting tested and then around 21 it was about how man &woman; are physically intimate(yeah ikr very basic but parent were somewhat religious not me though) either way you have to build up to it it's not just a one-time👌💬 conversation.😄😃
