This one will be long, but I feel like plenty of background is needed. I am 34, almost 35, and I have 3 kids, ages 12, 9 and 7. When I was pregnant with my first born, I had a full period for the first 3 months, and with the other two for the first month. I am now trying to get pregnant again after 2 miscarriages. I had started my period on July 12 and ended on the 19. However, it was abnormal. Normally I start first thing in the morning and bleed heavy until the last day, using a tampon every 2 to 3 hours, with severe cramps. This time, I started first thing in the morning, with light spotting for the first 3 days, "heavy" bleeding for one day, but I only used 3 tampons all day, followed by 3 more days of spotting, where I only had to change the pad at the end of the day because I felt dirty. And I've still been "spotting" since, but only when I wipe. And no cramping at all. I did have some light cramping two weeks before starting. I also have cold like symptoms, a sore throat and some nasal congestion, which I remember having in all 3 of my previous pregnancies. Other than that, and a gut feeling that I am pregnant, I have no symptoms. Also, I should have ovulated yesterday, but I've had no discharge and no raise in BBT. So, what do you guys think? I'll wait another week before testing, just looking for opinions.
