For you mom's, did you ever fear pregnancy?

I'm not talking about being afraid of an accidental pregnancy, but actually fearing carrying a child.

I'm 23, in a committed relationship with plans to marry within the next two years. My partner knows I am terrified of pregnancy. We talked about it long before we agreed to date exclusively.

He says he's okay adopting, which has always been my plan, but I can tell he's disappointed our future kids won't bear his genes.

Did anyone feel this way and get past it? I can just see myself spiraling into a deep depression. I just have this horrible "Alien" type image every time I think about something growing inside me.
