Where should we honeymoon?

Soo my fiancé and I are going to the courthouse on 10•13•17 to tie the knot and are spending our money on a honeymoon. Eventually we'll do something special with the family next year in Florida (where we're originally from and are considering moving back to.) Anywho, we're kind of at a loss as to where to go that is reasonable and romantic. Our thoughts were to go to the Outerbanks of NC, Virginia Beach, or Key West. We were leaning more towards venturing some place close by to us in NC so that we would not be spending most of our honeymoon traveling. I've lived in NC for 1.5 years but I'm not entirely familiar with what would be considered romantic around here. Any suggestions?
