A lot of people don't like pads because they say that it feels like wearing a diaper, and tbh, certain kinds do. HOWEVER, I never wanted to wear tampons just bc of the whole "only 8 hours" thing and I didn't want to take that risk. The best brand for pads is Always Infinity with FlexFoam. They come in multiple sizes just like regular pads, and they're so thin you can't even feel them even though you can wear them all night with no leaks! I swear by these pads and I honestly recommend them to anyone looking for comfortable pads.

Start with applicator tampons until you get used to inserting them and they are a lot more comfortable than pads. I always found pads too warm and made me feel sweaty and claustrophobic down there. Even better than tampons are menstrual cups but probably better to get used to tampons before moving on to them.

No need to be scared.A good applicator one is called tampax compact pearl good to prevent leakages.I would wear a pantyliner with  the tampon in just in case of any leakage.A pad at night is advisable just in case you oversleep.

Once you get the hang of them, tampons are 100% more comfortable!! No more dealing with all of that blood everywhere or getting just a bit of blood on you panties.. though I still use pads at night sometimes just in case I sleep too long or am too lazy in the morning to get up and change it on time.. it also depends on my flow..
