What are the expenses NOT covered by the military? I'm trying to calculate how much we will have to pay for various expenses when my boyfriend joins the army (we will be married). We will live on base, and from what I understand, there will be zero housing costs? Do we have to pay for water, electricity, etc.? I know we'll have to pay for our internet, cable, phones. What else is provided and what we will have to pay? If we have tricare prime, will everything be covered? And do we need to pay to have tricare? How much do you pay per month for expenses not covered by the military? Thanks!
