Baby wearing for plus size moms?

Question

I'm looking for recommendations on baby carriers/ baby wearing solutions for larger and plus sized women. It seems like every carrier is advertised on a model sized woman so I have no idea if they will work comfortably for me (or my husband who is 6'4" and not small either). This is my second child and I would really like to be able to baby wear more this time around (my first won't even be 2 yet when this one is born).

We have an ergo 360 and my 300lb hubby can wear it!  You can try them on in most baby stores.

A wrap or a ring sling would work well since they can be bought in different sizes and worn in many ways. Ring slings are very easy and can be used from birth to toddlerhood although a woven wrap is much more versatile (has a bit of a learning curve however). I would stay away from the stretchy wraps like Moby because they are only comfortable for most people until your babe is around 12-15 lbs. Wovens can be used for a looooong time. Join up with your local babywearing group on Facebook to get some specific advice and try on styles to find what suits your body best.
