we got some good news from our insurance company yesterday. after being told they would cover none of our fertility specialist costs, they ended up covering all but the $20 copay. Don't know if that is due to how the specialist coded the bill and lab work, but it was a huge relief to know the $350 office visit and $600 worth of blood work was covered by our insurance company and not out-of-pocket. in the end that's more $ going back into our BMF (baby making fund). hopefully they will continue to cover at the very least blood work, labs and sonograms. Don't like to try and work around insurance company but figure with the amount our premiums are a month, I'm glad the doctor is willing to do what he can for us billing-wise.
