I was talking in full sentences by my first birthday. When they set my little cake in front of me, I looked at my mom and said 'momma I need a fork'. Swear to god lol. Just depends on the baby.

My son could talk but many people had a hard time understanding him for along time. It turns out he had abnormally large adenoids that was preventing the fluid to drain from his ears but since he was so healthy we didn't know. The first symptom is ear infections and my son has never had any. It wasn't until he was in first grade that we found out and had them removed. It had been causing a delay in his speech mainly because he couldn't hear himself very well. His doctor said it would have been like hearing underwater! Once they were removed he started self correcting within a week. He had been considered one of the lower readers in his class before the surgery and by the end of school once they were removed he was one of the top readers!

I said 3 because it was the oldest, but my son is 4 and still not really talking. He's in speech therapy, and is getting closer.

My daughter is 17 months and she says a lot of words. Hasn't said a full sentence yet other than "I love you" but she just started that. But she know ALOT of single words. I guess it depends on the child.

My baby said HI at 9 days. She continued saying Hi until this day & she is 7 Months. She now also says mom, mama, mommy, Da, Dada, Daddy, Nana, Baba, K, Hey & she has been saying all of them sense 3 months but mommy & daddy words just started two days ago. I am a stay at home mom. First time mom & I talk to her so very much even the entire time of our Pregnancy. I consistently say what I am doing and what things are as I go & my husband does the same but in Spanish & we also sign to her as she has a deaf aunt Uncle & her cousins sign. So she is definitely picking it all up very fast while still being such a baby! 😍 Every child is different & I love finally being a parent!
