My step son is 8 going on 9 years old and I just witnessed him playing with his testicles and butt with his toys. What should we do about this or even say to him?

Answer

I would tell him not to put his toys on his privates just because of sanitary and safety reasons. My son is 6 and does a lot of touching, which is normal, and I just tell him if he's going to touch his penis he needs to be in his room and close his door. I don't want to discourage him growing and exploring but it needs to be in private.

Tell him the toys have germs and then ask his doctor how you should approach it
