So confused with this GD thing
I got a call from my doctor on Monday that I failed all my blood draws and he was ordering supplies. He said that I would get a call from the endo person for an appointment about diet and to teach me how to use the supplies. Until then I'm supposed to look up GD, track my food, and "clean up" my diet. What does that even mean???
I don't know what I can eat! I already exercise every day. I've done low carb (like extreme) in the past and it feels too strict for being pregnant. I set a carb goal of 130 and am trying to balance protein and fat with it. Today I ate (including the snack I'm going to have in 30mins) 142 carbs and 1500ish cals. Is that enough for my baby? I'm not monitoring my blood sugar yet because I don't have supplies and haven't met with anyone. I'm so confused. I can't screw this up too terribly in a week can I?
