I had two vegan classmates in vet school. One was vegan due to allergies (my fiancé's friend's girlfriend was the same too) and the other had been vegan for pretty much her whole life. Neither of them were proclaiming their dietary choices constantly- just when food was involved. Other than that I've never met one that isn't so forcefully vegan that it just gets annoying (there have been one or two people on this app that seem normal too, but without actually knowing them in real life I can't say for sure).

My friend was vegan and I didn't even know till I'd known her 2 years 😂😂 I didn't really pay attention to what she ate/drank when we were out haha. Only found out because I decided to throw a house party and asked people what they didn't like eating
