Wedding planning project

Why do people even get married anymore. Please reassure me that the actual wedding day is an enjoyable day. Or am I going to be thinking about all the details.

We are doing our best to cut corners with the cost since we are footing the bill. But one of the corners I want to cut is the cake.

My aunt offered to make our wedding cake before this big family feud started. My mom has a good reason not to want her and a few other family members at the wedding and I want to respect her wishes but it will be awkward both ways. If she isn't invited it would cause a deeper rift and if she is my mother and other member of the family will not be there. I don't want my mom to not enjoy herself at my wedding. But asking my aunt to make the cake will save us so much money

I am tired of looking at numbers and wedding magazines this is not a fun project. I want it to be over.
