made to feel uncomfortable at the gym by other females

The gym I go to has a Woman's only. I use this area and only this area. Room is never filled, most women using the room at a time is 3 or 4.

I don't have to ask to rotate in or wait on someone to finish using anything. I have social issues and would probably just leave rather than ask anyways. My social issues is the main reason for staying in the women's room. Plus I still consider myself a beginner and it takes me some time to learn or complete my workouts. Well today I went and some other ladies came in, No big deal. I was on the last bit of my workout. Guess I was on the machine they wanted, I could see them whispering and looking at me through mirror reflection.

The guy that works there came in to clean the mirrors and probably asked them why they were standing around and not working out (he likes to poke fun and motivate) but I feel as though they may have complained about me.. Because he then came up to me asking if I had been going there for awhile, I confirmed that I have. He than proceeded to tell me, that because I've been working out there so long that is about time I graduated to the co'ed side. He didn't say this in his normal motivational tone but at the moment I was to frazzled with the unexpected conversation that I just smiled and said I would try but as soon as I walked away it hit me what was really happening.. I wad being bullied or shamed.
