When are you planning on telling family?

If you got a BFP this month when do you plan to tell family? With our chemical pregnancy in December we would love to wait until we have an US picture but I don't see the doctor until 10 weeks. We were thinking telling my dad and the in laws at 8 weeks. So nervous!

I am telling my in laws next weekend at our Easter get together. My family the following weekend although I haven't come up with how yet. With my son I had planned on waiting the 12 weeks but at 6 weeks had pain and they couldn't see him in the ultrasound (turned out fine). But we wanted our family to pray so we ended up telling them early. Then I had a chemical in August and we hadn't told them yet. We did tell them though again for prayers and support. My last one we were waiting for the ultrasound. My bloodwork looked great and I had major symptoms so I was blindsided when my ultrasound didn't look good. Again, we told them then (6 weeks) for prayers. I ended up having a d&c at 10 weeks. So now we just plan on telling them without waiting for anything lol. We figured we want the prayers and support as soon as possible. 😄 my big reveal to everyone though I haven't decided if it will be 14 or after 20 weekish ultrasound.
