First night with no crying fit!!

Asher is 4 weeks old. The first 2 weeks he was literally the perfect baby. Of course he still is perfect in my eyes but what I mean by that is he rarely ever cried and when he did he was easy to console. He pretty much just ate and slept and pooped and was the happiest little man. The past 2 weeks have been much different. He has developed a bad gas problem to which I've had to pay much more attention to what I'm eating and we've switched him to Enfamil Gentlease formula for supplementing. He usually has 2-3 formula bottles per day. I've also been giving him gas drops with nearly every feeding. But with gas also come the crying/screaming fits. Every day this has happened 1-2 times per day. Usually mid afternoon like 2 or 3 pm and then again around midnight. They last 1-2 hours and he is completely inconsolable. I can tell he has gas during the fits bc he will wiggle and fart but I was starting to think he might have colic because literally nothing calms him down during this time. Even if I think what I'm doing is calming him down he will start screaming again 30 seconds later. I just have to wait it out. However last night he didn't have a screaming fit!! I am so happy this morning! He still is up to eat every 1-1.5 hours so it's not like I'm getting any reasonable amount of sleep lol but that part is fine with me as long as my little angel is happy. Please keep your fingers crossed for us that this keeps up!!
