Trouble with testing

I need help bad. I've been getting vvvfl on my test however the line isn't getting any darker. I ovulated on the 15th and AF is due on the 30th. Shouldn't my line be getting any darker. Also with my test it says results will show after 3 mins and NOT to read it after 10. My line doesn't show up until around the 4-5 min mark. I need help I'm ttc my first.
