ANY ARMY WIVES DELIVERING ALONE POSSIBLY?!!?

New army wife and my husband might have to pcs right around my due date an I will follow shortly after since I can no longer fly by time than. Any army wives on here share your experiences 😄 thank you for your service

I'm an army wife too! We found out a few months ago that we would pcs right around the due date, so I just got here a couple months before him to get settled and start seeing a doctor. My husband is supposed to move here two weeks before the due date, so I hope the baby doesn't come too early! If your husband can't be there, reach out to some of the local wives through Facebook or your frg! There's always someone willing to help! Good luck!!

OMG MEEEEE😭 my husband is getting deployed September 19th and I'm due the 30th. Its seriously heart breaking because I want him to be able to meet his daughter before is 9month deployment sooo bad

not an army wife but my husband is a paramedic firefighter, work has him out of town with him maybe being home for 1 day out of 5. it is looking more and more like he will be gone for the birth of our second! good luck and really hope you don't have to go through that!

My husband works offshore on an oil rig for two weeks at a time. He has arranged for time off for when our csection is supposed to be at 39 weeks, and for the few weeks following it, but if I go into labor early, he won't be here. So, my dad made plans to be here for the entire month of September to make sure I'm not alone in case of an emergency. I'm just hoping this kid waits for his dad to be home.

I'm sorry to hear that. That must be stressful!  I'm not military but in a military area and I know several of the local doulas will donate their services to wives in your situation if hubby can't be there and you need labor support.  Good luck!
