Do you shower facing the stream, or back toward the stream?

My boyfriend and I just got into the most ignorant debate. He told me he has always showered facing the stream, and I'm the opposite. He says majority of people shower facing the water. I didn't even know that was a thing until he said he did it 😂 now I'm just curious.

Both lol...I wash my hair facing away but wash my face and body facing toward.

I wash my hair with my back to the water. But I'm the beginning of my showers or even in the end I face forward and stand in the hot water lol. I think it's different because guys generally have short cut hair so it wouldn't make a different if they faced the water or were away, but us females who usually have long hair have to have our back turned to wash all the soap and conditioner out. I mean if I was facing forwards my soapy hair would get in my face and it just wouldn't work. In my opinion to solve this argument I think it's a gender thing.
