excess vitamin c causes period?

i recently read from a few online sources that consuming high amounts of vitamin c can cause your period to start early, and can even "naturally miscarriage" within the first month of being pregnant. just curious as to if this is true or not! does anyone have any experience? i feel like the causing period part may be true but can a vitamin cause a miscarriage?

the only way i induced my period was high doses of asprin crushed and miced in water. like 4 asprins (dr told me to)

I have tried drinking juices with Vitamin C in them in an attempt to induce my period but it didn't work. All it did was give me the runs considering too much Vitamin C can cause that..
