Baby bouncer vs baby swing?

Is it necessary to get both? What do you have?/ what are you getting? Thanks!

i found they were both great but the bouncer/ vibrating chair is much more portable and takes up less space.

forget both of those and get a rock n play. it vibrates and rocks and they can sleep in it. my newborn will not sleep flat on her back, this is at an incline and besides the boppy lounger it's all she will sleep in.

they have a 2 in 1 the swing chair comes off and ia a bouncer its great

we have both. the bouncer moves around the house and we keep the swing on one floor. love them both.

I have 2 swings. One is a regular swing the other has a detachable vibrating bouncer! My princess loves the vibration

No, but my girl loved both. bouncer is much more portable but she still fit the swing when she was too bit for the bouncer. Also prefered the swinging motion as she got older verses the vibrating of the bouncer

Every baby is different I had a swing that vibrates and swings and I was able to use it until my daughter was about 16/17 months . I wish I had gotten a swing that you can detach from the portal and it's a bouncer it would have made it easier to carry from room to room

I have both. my first baby loved them both. my second child hated both. lol I hope the 3rd lives them because the hardly got any use since we bought new ones for the second kid.

I just have a bouncer seat which I used often for my first. Other than that I wore him in a Boba wrap--which I loved! 
I find swings too bulky and highly frowned upon for sleeping in at all.
