Sleeping the whole night ? Tips advice plz asap

Alexis

Hey, I havn't been able to sleep the whole night recently ( I mean at least a month). I haven't had proper sleep in forever more so these couple weeks. I wake up at least once in the middle of the night almost like clockwork (around 4-5am usually) and than sometimes a few more times after (around like 7-8am). I either have too pee during those few waking hours or I'm just up (even thou I don't drink water right before I go too bed). And I also tend to have very vivid/realistic dream like in a row. Recently they have been nightmares or some from of weird dream I wake up from (usually I can remember pits and pieces). For example last night/this morning I woke up with a nightmare. I havn't had this in proper sleep since I was younger younger (I'm 17 now). I use to take melatonin to help me sleep when I stopped playing abunch of sports. Now I do weightlifting about 5-6 days a week. On a good day I'll be totally knocked out from that, but still end up waking up some time (instead of 5am it would be 7 am). Also I tend to go to bed at like 11:30 or 12. It's not usually an issue of falling asleep (sometimes) more waking up and not fully sleeping and getting the rest I want. I usually try and sleep till 11:30 or 12 but I'm always like half asleep. Idk it's weird, I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions, advice, maybe sleeping supplements, anything to help ??? Or has this happened too u, what u do ? It's like when I do sleep it's a half sleep, I never wake up well rested anymore. I'm always exhausted. Idk if this has to do with the birth control I'm on (first time I tried birth control, at the end of 2 packet). I have no clue what triggered it. I get at least one weird dream or nightmare every night now. This never happened to me before. Anyone ?? Btw sorry this is long if someone could help out that would be great!
