I Made My Boyfriend Cry (LDR)

My boyfriend and I have been together now 9 months. His birthday is coming up in a week, when I'll be moving into my dorm for college.

I sadly will be busy with marching band camp most of his birthday, so I set up a lovely package for him for his birthday consisting of 8 items he loves.

I have a habit of making horrible puns, and I littered each item with at least one pun.

He received the package today, walked out in the rain to get it once he learned of the surprise. He didn't expect it, so once he opened it to find a tightly packed box of wrapped items, he was a bit overwhelmed.

He was grinning from ear to ear over Skype as he read the note I left on top to clues of his gifts.

I set it up for him to open them in order. As he opened each one, he'd laugh and smile. By the time he got to the 5th gift, he stopped, overwhelmed and covered his face with his hands. I could tell I made him cry. He's had a past of not the best relationships, with women that would rarely give him the time of day. He told me as he dries his eyes that I definitely hit home. I love him so much, and giving him even a simple care package of candies and gifts made me so so happy.

I can't wait until the day where I can close the distance and kiss the hell out of him 😍
