Just discharged from the hospital. I went in last night because I had contractions every 5 minutes. It was not painful but since they were regular for over an hour I decided to go in. I'm 36 weeks and I was 2 cm dialated and 50 % effaciated. Contractions became very painful and 1-2 minutes apart. They decided to give me morfin to help me relax. Dr said either it will make me dialate or stop contractions. Luckily it slowed contractions and after 6 hrs there was no progression so they discharged me. I want my baby to cook a little longer but at the same time I just wanted all this to be over. I'm still having contractions every 10 min, but I guess I'll wait until they become 2-3 minutes apart before I go back to the hospital.
