Good foreplay ideas?

I'm frustrated.

Recently my boyfriend and I have been having less sex. He usually initiates, or had been easy to get going with the suggestion of "let's have sex tonight". Lately, he's been wanting me to initiate more and to start the foreplay.

When I give, what I believe is, my sexiest look and voice and moves he says, "you are so awkward!" And, of course, my self esteem for how sexy I think I am is shot down, and really, really hard to force myself back into the mindset I want to be in.

He wants me to take more control, I asked him, though, and he doesn't want to be dominated. He tells me, well, just getting naked is enough! Which is obviously untrue because when that happens he wants sexy foreplay.
