Clomid?

This is my second month using OPKS been ttc for about 5 now amd I got a positive opk last month and this month (hoping it helps) but I have read that even with a positive opk it doesn't mean you ovulated. My question is what is clomid used for??

Why do you think you're not ovulating, if you don't mind me asking? I didn't use to ovulate on my own very much and my periods were very irregular, plus I had painful ovarian cysts. 4 cycles in Clomid and I got my BFP, but that was after trying on our own for over 3 years. Hope that helps ✨✨👶💜✨✨

Five months isn't very long. It can take healthy couples up to a year to conceive. Most doctors won't see you about infertility until you've been trying a year. If you are getting positive opks you are most likely ovulating. Just keep trying. Clomid is usually prescribed to those who are not ovulating correctly to help produce more estrogen for an egg to be released. Good luck!
