Pregnant??

I have a 11 month old baby that I stopped breastfeeding at 3 months. And have not had any milk since then.
But then last night 8 months after I stopped breastfeeding I noticed I started leaking again. But it was thicker. Could I be pregnant?

After the placenta sends the first two hormones to start the process of breast milk prolactin surfaces to help from the first two which you have to be pregnant to have unless it's just old breast milk from the previous pregnancy.

The hormones that make the breast milk are estrogen and progesterone......So she could very much be pregnant not to be rude but make sure any info given is correct dent want to mislead any one.

I don't think so... I'm pretty sure the hormone that causes lactation (prolactin) actually inhibits ovulation. So if that hormone is high enough for you to leak milk, I'd say your other hormones probably aren't high enough for you to be pregnant. Too much prolactin can actually be a cause of infertility... But there are lots of easy natural ways to fix that if that's actually the case. I suspect I have high prolactin too, so I've been taking Vitex and other supplements.
