Can nub theory be wrong?

Just wanted to know people's thoughts on this theory, is it pretty accurate or has anyone had any experiences of being told the sex and then turning out to be wrong by this theory?

Yes it can be wrong. It is just a guess. There is no concrete proof that it is a reliable way to determine the sex of the baby

It can be wrong. Also some people mistake the leg bone in the scan for a nub. For someone untrained it's easy to make a mistake :)

It's like an old wives tale. Only way to really know is an ultrasound after 20 weeks. Almost all the quizzes and tests said I would have a boy other than the ring test. I'm having a girl. Last ultra sound was at 26 weeks and the tech said she was 100% sure it's a girl!

I posted in a nub theory page with my scan which was 11 weeks & 3 days, everyone on it said girl, had private scan at 16 weeks, also said girl, & too at my 20 week scan, so was right for me xx
