Anyone have PCOS ?

So recently I was told I had polycyst ovary syndrome and I looked into it and a effect is not conceiving ! I really want a family, I been try with my husband but I can't . anyone else have the same issue ?? ;( or can it be possible to conceive ?!

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 17. I was overweight (4'11'' 200lbs) and would only have period once or twice a yr. My doctor told me I would have to lose weight and there might be a possibility I would have to have fertility treatments in the future but never said I wouldn't be able to conceive. Two yrs ago I lost 40 lbs since then I have a very regular period every month. I know women with PCOS that have conceived but were living very healthy lifestyles ( strict diet, exercise, etc. So there is hope:)

Absolutely is possible! Getting to a healthy weight (being underweight or overweight are both bad in this case) is the first and biggest step. Take Vitex (chaste berry) which is an herbal supplement that helps regulate your menstral cycle. It works and is prescribed by gyns. Take prenatal vitamins to make sure your body is getting what it needs to make a baby. Eat healthy, be active. You'll conceive :)

Yep!! But I had to see an RE and take fertility meds.
