I was really upset when I had my baby this past Tuesday and my husbands mother never called me to congratulate me or see how I was doing.. she did text me husband though. She lives 5 hours away from me and she's up their in age so I totally understand why she couldn't be there for my child's birth.

This morning I sent her a photo of my baby and a video, I said " baby says goodmorning mom mom and grandpa"

Her response "why mom mom, why not grandma".

She hadnt even acknowledged my baby's photo or video I sent her.

Maybe it's just my hormones, but I see she's not the friendliest.

I got a bit emotional and my husband thinks I'm overreacting.

Am I wrong?
