Why ?!

Why do people hate or have strong opinions on teenage pregnancies, now I'm NOT talking 12-13-14-15 year olds 
But 16 where it is legal to consent in most places! And 17 and 18.
I'm not on about trying either! If it accidentally happens but they step up I see a lot of that on here and it's cruel especially them trying their best!

I agree with you. You know.. Women used to get MARRIED at 13-14 and start having babies! Times have changed, but our biology has not. Periods start at 11-14. Our bodies are all horny and hormonal at a much younger age than "society" accepts them to be. Unfortunately, society also does a shitty job of teaching teens to be safe with condoms and birth control. A lot of schools and parents teach abstinence or nothing at all, or just try to scare the kids into abstinence with STD pictures. (My high school did.) luckily I had a mother who was very open and PROVIDED me with condoms and took me for birth control AS SOON as I was sexually active. I'd venture to say that most teens don't have that. My best friend had her first at 16. We both lost our virginity on the same week to long term boyfriends. What was the difference? Her mom didn't provide her with options and education and neither did our school. It's a rough start having a baby that young,

I went seven years having sex 1-3 times a day and never had an accident. That's why it bothers me. If an "accident" does happen then it's their choice at that point. The big problem is that some teens are trying to conceive and many aren't taking the right steps to prevent it despite knowing better (teens who have a legitimate reason to why they don't know about contraceptive excluded, but lets admit that it's extremely rare). Your body and mind aren't developed to have children as a teen, and you have much more to learn about life that would lead to a healthier child mentally- and that's the big problem the child that is born is put at risks that could have been prevented. No matter if you're in love, live on your own, have a car, have a job, or anything of the sort you are not mentally prepared and you have experiences to experience- on top of the fact that there is no chance you've been in a stable situation long enough to know it will last. Teens shouldn't have kids. Do what you want, but those are my two cents.
