22 weeks - Not feeling baby kick?

I'm 22 weeks today & I haven't really felt anything that I can for sure distinguish as a kick. Sometimes I'll feel a heartbeat like sensation in my stomach and think maybe that it's a kick, but no hard kicks. Is this normal?

The heartbeat sensation may be hiccups ☺️. There is probably kicking going on that's hard to distinguish.

you may have an anterior placenta which acts like a barrier between you and the baby kicks :) i was 22 when i first felt anything. it'll happen soon :) try chugging cold orange/apple juice and lay down! a good trick!

You could have an anterior placenta which makes it much harder to feel kicks. As baby gets bigger over the next few weeks I'm sure you will feel some definite kicks! If you're worried always discuss it with your doctor. When I first felt kicks it almost felt like popcorn popping. I was 20 weeks and they were hard to determine for sure but friends and family assured me that's what it was since I'm a FTM as well. Every baby and pregnancy is different! Just be sure to bring it up at your next doctors appointment if you're worried :)
