Low placenta and EIF
Got some results from my 18 wk ultrasound today. Trying not to be too worried, but they said I have a low laying placenta, as well as finding a echogenic intracardiac focus on the baby's heart. I know most likely both will end up fine but I can't help but be worried.
For the placenta, most move away from the cervix as the uterus grows. I'll be having another us to check at 30 weeks.
For the EIF, it is a soft marker for Down's syndrome. I have no other markers, and in combination with my earlier blood test screening, my risk is 1 in 1132.
Anyone with experience with either of these findings?
