Lip wax left bumps??

OK so here's the deal I've always had kind of sensitive skin however I HAVE gotten my lip waxed before.
It had been a while though and I really needed it so when I was in out of town for a family event I went ahead and found the nearest (and cheapest) nail salon and got my lip waxed.
However it left a bunch of bumps and then kind of itch really bad. It's been two days and they still haven't gone away if anything they've gotten WORSE.
My question is how many of you experienced this before and how do I get rid of these please?

Breakouts on lip area after wax is very common. They will clear up in a few days. Don't touch them and they will heal. If itchy I would suggest a hydrocortisone cream. Your having a histamine reaction. It's very common when waxing the face. I personally breakout a little after a lip wax. It does get better the more you do it. I would also recommend using hard wax vs soft. It's much more gentle on the skin. The waxer should also never go over the lip area more then twice on either side, just a little insider tip! I am a wax specialist/esthetician 8+ yrs experience!

I have to exfoliate first and can only use hard wax because soft wax irritates my skin. Immediately after I wax I have to clean the wax residue with rubbing alcohol or witch hazel.

Yes I just waxed my lip last night and I always get little bumps for a day or two after. I just use moisturizer and some witch hazel and it goes away
