I need help!! 24weeks pregnant

Though out my whole pregnancy I've not been able to actually have sex bc its too painful or causes too much after pain like to the point of not being able to do anything for a couple of days and I just don't know what to do bc of it my husband understands it hurts me a lot, so if I don't feel like it, he doesn't argue about it bc he doesn't want me in so much pain but it just upsets me so much bc I just don't know why it hurts me so bad bc it really shouldn't
