Confused

So I recently started my period and I thought that my 2nd period was just like, early or something when it came 7 days early. Ok. No big deal. It was medium the first day, then light the second day. Then the third day, there was absolutely nothing. The pad was completely clean. I noticed that I had some discharge too. It was almost clear, had some milky whiteness to it. Was that early period like leftover blood? Or is it just really a 2 day period?? Sorry but I have no clue
