Should pads and tampons be free?

I personally don't think they should be free, since nothing's really free. Someone's always paying for it. But I think that they shouldn't have taxes or be cheaper!

I think they should be available for homeless women, but not free for everyone. Why should they be? We don't choose to poop either but toilet roll isn't free 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm part of a charity called "for the girls" that collects pads, tampons and gently used or new bras for homeless and low income women. Other than that, no. Why should they be free for the rest of us?

Someone manufactures them. They have a cost. 
Sure. No problem with making them cheaper. Not taxing. Whatever. 
And of course it would be great if all women with real hardships had access. But they're still not "free."

Like I've said in the other thread, I think they should at least be able to be purchased with HSAs and FSAs.

I definitely think they should have a lower cost, and that there shouldn't be a tax on them. Guys don't have taxes put on condoms (i think) so why should women have to have raised prices on things we need for our periods? 
I also definitely think that homeless women and girls should get free tampons, pads, and advil for their cramps. Imagine how much harder it must be when youre homeless and on your period- yikes.

For low income yes, and cheaper for everyone else. They're incredibly inexpensive to produce compared to other cheaper products so we can afford to sell them for cheaper. 
Paying nine dollars for a box of tampons or eating is something I wouldn't want anyone to choose between

No, things like toilet paper, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. Basically all toiletries are not free. It wouldn't make sense for them to be free. Yes, homeless women should have access to them but they do provide them in places like shelters, and I've been to planned parenthood and they provided them there for free.

I favor a voucher system for those that meet eligibility requirements. I'd also like to see reusable products like cups incentivized.
