What do you give your newborn for acid reflux?

I have a one month old who is suffering from bad acid reflux. A lot of spit up, arching back while feeding and fussy when laid down.

Don't lay him or her flat. Make sure to not over feed !

Keep a pillow behind him, do not lay him flat. Always burp after feeding, don't feed too much! Get waterfords all natural gripe water. You can find it at Walmart!

You call his doc....  my son had reflux too... and u should give him the Similac spit up one.. tr helped my son a lot

My niece had this. I can't remember the medications given, but she had enfamil gentlease that you feed them in a kind of upright position and make sure to keep them up for at least 30 minutes after feeding.
