So I'm currently on bed rest at 32 weeks at least until Wednesday when I have my next appointment with my midwife due to preterm labor and they discovered I have a short cervix and gestational diabetes. My concern is this... I do not qualify for fmla as I've only been at my job since January. Nor do I have STD as it's company paid after 1 year of service as well. HR has approved my leave for when I give birth and 6-8 weeks of recovery. I'm just worried that if they do not take me off of bed rest before then that I will lose my job. Do I have any other protection? TIA
