So I was just put on strict bed rest, I'm waiting to get my urine collection cup for a 24hr urine collection sample for preeclampsia, had to get a steroid shot today for baby lung development and I'll get another one tomorrow. I also will start having non-stress test tomorrow. I'm so nervous this baby girl is going to have to come too early! Things were going so well until my 31 week appointment. I had gained 5lbs in two weeks (up until that point I had only gained 4lbs the entire pregnancy) and my bp was slightly up, at my appointment today (also two week difference) I gained another 5lbs. That's 10lbs in four weeks, my blood pressure was really high today and I've been swelling a lot. I'm only 33 weeks and my OB is saying he wants to deliver 38 weeks minimum (September 1) but could be a lot sooner depending on all these test, my bp and if the baby shows any signs of distress. Prayers or good thoughts are appreciated!!

**UPDATE! I'm currently admitted to L&D; on a 24 hour observation. My bp is extremely high and if they can't get it down I'll have to deliver this week. I'm terrified to have a 33 weeker, but I was able to get both steroid shots so I'm hoping she'll be ok if she has to come now. Could really use some prayers!! I'm a little overly emotional right now worried about her.
