Should I announce my pregnancy today or not?

I planned on announcing my pregnancy on April Fool's Day as a cool/fun way to announce. However, a former college friend and coworker just lost her twins at 20ish weeks a little over a week ago. Should I be sensitive and wait, or go ahead and announce it today.

I agree it might be best to tell your friend privately first,  and just my personal thing but I wouldn't do it on April fools day might be taken the wrong way lol

I would talk to her face to face if you can if not then on the phone. Its going to hurt her more then likely but at least she won't be blind sided by the news.

I don't think I would announce a pregnancy today, a lot of people will think it's a joke, which is not what you're after. I say wait, not a few weeks, just a day or so.
