Breast reduction and breastfeeding

8 years ago I had a breast reduction. ( they took off areoles and then re did them) I've never had much feeling in my breast until I got Pregnant. I'm now 16w3d and my nipples are killing me to the point where I need ice on them to fall asleep. Could this be a sign that maybe my body is producing? Has anyone been able to
Breastfeed with reduction like mine?
