I found some really good comparisons between Braxton hicks & true contractions on Pinterest I've not had BH yet & im 35 weeks. I did have some period like pains that traveled from around my lower front of my belly to my lower back one morning after I over did it the day before, they persisted in waves for about a half hour & didn't abate when I moved around & changed positions etc like BH do.My midwife was concerned & immediately took me of the raspberry leaf I had just started & will start again next week closer to my due date, the cramping hasn't returned as I'm extremely careful of not over exerting myself.
What do contractions feel like??
I'm a couple days away from 35 weeks and experiencing some menstrual type cramping. Last night they were bad enough to wake me up! Is this contractions or Braxton hicks? They were just like period cramps so not something that felt easy to time so idk if that's what i was experiencing, or just my body prepping for birth.
