diaper bag? which did you prefer. (moms who have used their bag please)

Question

I feel like since I'm smaller, five foot one, that I should use a backpack style for when I have to tote the car seat and the diaper bag around, which will be all of the time that my fiance isn't with me. I have these two bags that I found that I really like , the Eddie bauerr one I found on this app from another mom who has it and apparently it has 11 Pockets but I can't find any photos of the inside but
 has very good reviews. the hap tim one is adorable but a few reviews did say stitching started coming undone and some zippers don't stay secure. but you know how reviews can be sometimes too. any help? is super cute

I have both,  for different  occasions... backpack  for  parties and outdoor  events (and for my husband).. and a tote more for daily use

I'm 4'11 and otters everything with a tote style bag with my first just fine. However since I now have two kids I use a backpack diaper bag and love it and wish I would have got one with my first.

I have a tote/shoulder bag style and I've never thought "wow I wish I had a back pack right now" lol. Mine has handles for carrying, a strap for shoulder use and it attaches to the stroller with little clips so I've never had to really juggle it at all.

I also have both. I have a backpack style that has handles so I can carry it on my arm. It's super handy when you have a bunch of stuff to carry. A big over the shoulder version just gets in the way IMO when you have a car seat to carry as well. Put the backpack on your back and it's out of sight, out of mind.

I have a messenger style but it's really small. I can fit some diapers, a small thing of wipes, changing pad, extra outfit, and nursing cover in it. That's the one I take out on short trips like a few shopping stops and church. It's super nice not to have to take the whole huge backpack everywhere. It was also only like $10 but I so would have paid more for how awesome it is.

I prefer backpack for the free hands. So much easier. I started off with a tote style and quickly switched!

I have the Eddie Bauer backpack and so far i love it. I did put a different changing pad in mine just because the one it came with is on the flimsy side. And the pockets on the very front of the bag are unusually deep but otherwise it works really well for us.
