Who is planning a home birth?

We tried for a home birth with my last baby but he decided to come early. So we labored at home as much as possible and Then went into the hospital. This time I'm really hoping to get my home birth! Anyone else planning a home birth in or near March 2017?

this is my first and we're shooting for home birth. my midwife actually said they have been getting more and more first time moms, and successful.

I have had 2 home  births. Im contemplating between another home birth or just going to the birthing center (legit a house in the middle of a neighborhood). Decisions decisions.

Got my wish! Baby boy was born at 12:45 this morning @ home, had two qualified mid wives always & a student who's been with us since about halfway through the pregnancy (she was a godsend)
Love love loved my midwives & home birth. I laboured from Satdy at about 8:30 when my bloody show started till this morning so about 29.5 hrs. 
Had a water birth which isn't what I originally wanted but changed my mind last night & it was awesome! 
My recommendation is to shop around till you find the right midwife for you & look into her & interview her properly. You can always change but the ideal is continuity of care which builds trust that makes such a difference.

Not in March, but we are having our home birth in January 2018. this is our second baby, our first was born in the hospital- unmedicated so I am having high hopes for this home birth.

If I find out I'm pregnant I really want a water birth at home. it's seems more calm then when I was at the hospital it was nerve racking.
