Relationship problems, please help!

So my boyfriend and I have been together for 9 months now and the only issue I have with him is he never texts me or calls. He could go like 3 to 4 days without talking to me. Now he's a gamer and he spends most if not all his free time playing. I honestly don't mind but it does bother me that doesn't even take a min to text or call to see how I'm doing. I've already talked to him about this but nothing changes. I'm getting to the point where I think we should just break up because clearly I'm not a priority to him or at least that's how I feel. All advice is welcomed!

Side note: I do text him but he'll text back once then that's it. I'm not going to beg him to talk to me if he doesn't want to. And I have told him it bothers many times and idk what to do anymore.
