Flu in first trimester

I'm just over 6 weeks and started feeling sick yesterday evening with a low grade fever (99.7) and then woke up to a fever of 102! I spoke with the on call doctor and she said it sounds like the flu so I'm resting, taking Tylenol, and drinking lots of fluids. I couldn't tell you the last time I had the flu! My temp has reduced to 100, which I am so happy about, but I am still so paranoid as this is my first pregnancy. I am praying I don't have complications. Anyone else get the flu this early? I need to ease my mind.
